Mitti Raag – From Earth to Thread, A Journey of Heart and Hands

Mitti Raag was born from a feeling — one that stirred deep within me as I watched tribal women and artisans of Bagru, Daabu, and traditional screen prints work with nothing but earth, water, sun, and their hands. It wasn’t just craft; it was storytelling in its purest form.

These women don’t speak loudly, but their work does — through every block, every natural colour, every imprint soaked in tradition and time.

I knew then that this art needed to be shared — not just preserved. Mitti Raag is a collaboration where my design blends with their craft. Fabrics are self-sourced, but the soul of the textile is entirely theirs — printed with organic materials and earth-friendly processes.

Punjab, with its deep love for texture and legacy, felt like home for this collection. But its voice is global — rich, real, and rooted.
